In this installment we cover day ten of the bale garden conditioning process. Day ten of the bale garden conditioning process is our last active day of bale conditioning. We just add 1 cup (approximately 200 grams) of a BALANCED fertilizer of your choice. The bales are already full of nitrogen and micro nutrients from the breakdown of the straw so we add a balanced fertilizer to help supplement the phosphorus and potassium that our plants need for healthy growth! Be sure to follow along for the whole process to ensure your best success with the bale gardening method. Thanks for watching!

You are a hoot!!! I am sending out your bean seeds today so you can plant when you are ready…When do you start planting your plants now? Will you have to cover them in case of frost? My stuff is doing quite well in the greenhouse. Had to put some heat in there for a few nights cause it was pretty cold.. Thanks for the great videos…. How are your potatoes doing in the straw compost???
Another awesome video on showing folks how to do this bale gardening. Keep'm coming brother! Hope you have a great day!

You must be one day ahead of me. I thought today was day 9… Oy vay. Lol hopefully I didnt miscount.
You got me drawn in there with the introduction!
Great series on how to cook ndition bales one day at a time. Good job!
Great information! We did our strawberries in bales last year, but we had no idea about conditioning. This series has helped and we may give it a try next year.
Yay, I saw the whole ten days of conditioning! Now I will watch to see if you can actually grow vegetables in those things (I reckon you can!).

The links to your FB site do not work
My bales just started cooking yesterday on day nine. Rained all day today so they're likely cooking away by now. Starting to get exciting!
Could l use wood chips and ash from the fireplace with the nitrogen pellets?
