  1. Great info Oppe. I try to always respect other gardeners' decisions on what to use in their gardens because ultimately it is going in their body. But friendly advice should be welcome in the spirit it is given, then we choose to use it or ignore it. LOL

  2. Living out in the country we have all sorts of wildlife. I had problems with something eating my flowers in my half whiskey barrels, ate the impatiens. Cayenne pepper did the trick. Raccoons demolished my sweet corn. I think only an electric fence would keep them away. We have rabbits, squirrels, fox, and deer. They do not bother. Deer will just walk through. I live with woods on each side and a small creek. I don't know about the forks. Seems like it would take a lot. I'll be heading out back in a bit to see if my black raspberries are ready to pick. They probably are. Thanks for the tips.

  3. Those snakes work is all I can say! I have seen lots of folks use forks with success. Also seen folks use peppers like you do and it worked also. I don't have critter problems like these as the deer and rabbits don't have a chance to get to my garden with my two dogs guarding it. Plus my yard is fenced in and the garden is also fenced in so double fencing keeps those type of critter out. As for the tree rats well they stay to busy emptying out our bird feeder everyday. LOL. Tabitha and Olivia keeps them on the move. Hey if all else fails then I break out the old shotgun and Git-R-Done! Rabbit, Squirrel and deer are mighty tasty I tell ya. Awesome tips ya gave here buddy! Even if'n the last one was crap. LMBO.. Nope I will not use that in my garden either! Hope you have a great rest of the week / weekend.

  4. It is hard to find Milograntie here in Texas. The Lawn Care Nut, Jake the Lawn Kid and the rest of the Lawn YT creators made that thing FAMOUS. Now when you do find it is expensive. Now I use Ringer which is another organic fertilizer for the yard. We got a house cat that is now a yard garden cat to help keep the pest away

    Great video. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Being in the country, we have no shortage of critters in the garden. We have fenced, tried deterrents, scarecrows, pepper, forks, you name it! We have had rabbits chew through poultry netting, groundhogs burrow under chain link and even climb over it! We have had to take permanent removal steps to keep our food safe.

  6. That was interesting! I will send this to my Mum and sister as they have trouble with rabbits eating their emerging green beans! My main problem is squirrels digging to bury peanuts, they really don’t care if they damage your plants when they do it. I find cages protect young tomatoes and peppers from them.

  7. Fortunately, we don't have to much of a problem with wildlife in the garden. Our biggest problem is birds on the grapes, blueberries, and cherries. We will use nets this year to stop that. We have three cats out prowling at night so that probably cuts back on the rabbits. I think the small critters are also afraid to go that far out of cover. We have a lot of owls and coyotes here who are likely helping us!
