When i set a broody hen on new eggs i set a bushel basket over her and the eggs for a day. Then remove it. Worked every time for me. As a kid i would find a broody and hide her on eggs using the bushel basket method. Then surprise my parents with chicks 3 wks later.

Hi what do I do if I have no Rooster and one of my hens go broody or all of my hens go broody
Ok so the reason why I don’t have a rooster is because My puppy Killed my rooster I am try to get another rooster but all of my hens are going broody. If you can please tell me what I need to do that would be awesome thanks

Strawberries and flowers and we had 8.6 inches of snow on May 9th.
