Mint needs sun light to germinate , so just sprinkle them on a wet soil mix , mine turned perfect and almost every seed germinate , 90% success rate

Do we HAVE/NEED to put 30 percent organic compost and fine sand or perlite??? Will it still be healthy and grow if I just use normal soil?!!

Nice, it is good to know that they can be late. Every year I plant cucumbers (They all end up dying) and I am used to seeing ones that don’t germinate.
