One year i planted tomatoes under a tree. My father-in-law had a fit because he just knew that i wasted the plants because they would not produce . We had a hot dry summer. The only tomatos he got where the ones under that tree
Do you have a shelter you can give to. Instead of letting it go to waste
How wide are your beds?
Really enjoy watching you in the garden. You can see the joy that it brings. Just looks like a beautiful peaceful place to be. May your garden grow with as much goodness it can bring. Thanks
Watched VW’s video of the bees and the boy’s tour. Love seeing the excitement of the boys as they show off the place and animals. I know that you are very proud of them. May God keep blessing your family with joyful memories.
Cool beans …. pun intended …. some of your maters are "uge" I only have a few flowers so far, and the plants are only a foot or more tall … way behind, but I'll eventually catch up. Take care.
Wow! What a God moment; for you to be alerted to look out your window and see the goat in the garden! Thank you Holy Spirit for the chills on my arms! They remind me my legs need shaving. 😀
Seeing little Ben in his beekeeper gear blessed me, as well.
Great video, again, Girlie!
Going to check out VW Farm; now.
Peace and Love <3
So much easier than blanching. It seems like a lot of bags though. Is there a special bag that holds several? Could you put them in the deep freezer if you freezer space is limited? How long do you freeze? Never heard of this….so excited!
Great video!
How is your tomato growing competition with Gary and Calikim29 and other youtube growers coming along?
Do you use rain barrels to collect rain water?
Love the progress. How hard was it to leave that yellow tomato lol. So do you can or freeze your red and green noodle beans? Goat in the garden…911!! That is a freak out moment lol. ❤
I am so inspired by what you are doing. Thank you for share. A curious question, how/ why are you preserving your dried beans. Are they not just as easy to utilize in the dry form when needed?
I have been watching your videos one after another. I would like to grow a garden on my small porch at my apartment. Any pointer? Also how to you cann veggies?
I need a pressure canner. I’m not confident enough to do water canning. I grew up with water canned food, but I’m always suspicious of the food when I water can. That tomato freezing tip is exactly what I do. A coworker taught me that years ago.
I am so grateful that I found your YouTube channel. I'm a first-year gardener with a huge amount of tomatoes that going to be ripe at the same time. I was beginning to panic. You're core it, score it and freeze it tip is brilliant! Thank you so much!
Enjoy your videos. But must admit I get a little jealous. I use to have a 1500 sq ft. garden. It was fabulous. Now I live in a mobile home park in central Florida. I still garden but space is so limited. I am fortunate that I have one of the larger lots in the park but am still so limited in space. I have learned a lot about tomatoes from your videos. I would love to do chickens too but …. lol. That's not happening in a mobile home park. Keep up the great work. I just love your garden. Again….. a little jealous.
One day I will have a goat.
Beautiful, organized garden! I can see why you say you need a good 2 afternoons of time in the kitchen. Your bees are doing good! We have so busy with our bees, catching swarms and splitting hives. We are up to 46 hives so far and counting. If you were closer we would gift you one! Being in the north, we are now thinking how to winter prep our hives for the snow and freezing weather they must go through. We belong to a rather large commercial bee club so we are slowly working our way up to a respectable number, along with selling nucs and raising queens. Again I love your garden! It is just amazing! Take care, God Bless!
My garden was doing so great I was making lots pickles and the tomato were awesome I even had okra planted because of your channel. We live in North Dakota so our season is really short but about 3 weeks ago we had a hail storm and took it all out I was heart broken
So, how are the bees doing? My husband and I had some hives! We started out with two and eventually worked our way up to ten, but one summer they all just disappeared! It was devastating!!!!! We talked with some friends that also had bees and theirs disappeared also! We live in Clanton, AL where there are a lot of peach farms (a lot of spraying going on) and we were told that's probably led to the demise of our bees. It really makes me mad because we loved working with the bees and doing the honey thing!!! FUN!!!!! That was about 5 years ago and we are thinking about trying to starting up again this spring. Just curious how yours are doing!!!!!
Yes! Love okra flowers! So pretty! How do all those unusual bean types taste? Like green beans?
Enjoy watching older videos. Notice differences.
Remember Kitten George.
If you have a juicer you can put in tomato skins. It makes great juice or a bunch of other things. I was fascinated by how much it pulled out of the skin.
