  1. What's the best way to remove grass? If I use contractors paper and cover with 7-8 inches of mulch, the ground will be higher than the house foundation… What can I do James… Please help

  2. Sir bees are a great idea. I live on a 60×120 ft lot have had as many as five hives at once on my lot. Make sure they have water. And no problems occur

  3. A good positive attitude. AS far as getting bees is concerned. My Dad was a commercial beekeeper. By default, in respect for the work he put in, I kept a few hives for years. Eventually they were killed off by some of the new diseases that have come to north america. My nephew took up beekeeping 3 years ago and he does every thing right, medical applications etc. to keep them healthy and it really requires dedication, weekly inspections and a major outlay of cash. My advice is: don't get bees unless you have the time and are committed to working with them on regular intervals.

  4. Bees yes, they need all the help they can get. There's a father & son from Australia that invented a hive with a tap so you never have to disturb the hive.

  5. After taking off last year for cancer. We're back at it. Guild around the white oak tree. Elderberry cuttings around it and baling twine, act as a trellis. For first snow peas followed by beans. Both feeding the tree. Flowering bulbs feed the eyes in the spring too.
Lots of different types of berries. Fruit trees that need pruning are first air layered. Almost free trees.
Wire panels over the driveway and ramps for fruiting vines provide fruit and shade. Lowering the need for air conditioning the house. Roses on trellis next to the house provide thorny security too. Prickly pear cactus on the hot dry side provides food and security there too.
    Enough .

  6. It's a good idea to have a bee hive because bees are endangered species and they barely attack vecause they only seek for polination but it can also turn into a slash if the neighbor get annoyed for the amount of bees around…

  7. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Salmon P. Chase said " If you bring those leaders (of the Confederate Government) to trial, it will only condemn the north. For, by the constitution, secession is not rebellion". The South saw it as a war against an all powerful and overbearing national government imposing its' will on the people.
Look what we have now… EXACTLY what the South was fighting against.
P.S. I know I'm going to catch holy hell for this.
    P.S.S. I don't care.

  8. can you talk about what is possible for someone living in the arizona rocky mountains? i'm not sure a lot of that stuff will survive here.
i live in northern az and we have monsoons and decently cold winters here in the mountains, and all the dirt is made of clay and cinders.
    HELP!!!!
