WHAT TIME OF YEAR CAn you root basil?
I have found if I have the first pot, from seed, sitting in a good light and temp and I place two pots on either side of the first one I allow the first to go to seed. They replant themselves, from seed and the second, third, fourth etc. plants are heartier and greener. The flavor fantastic. Give them what they desire and natures abundance provides. In the summer the birds replant too and I share in their bounty.

How do you grow the red and blue herbs?
It grows from seed so easily. I keep it in the same pot and every spring it just comes back up
My acquintance always buys basil and never takes them out of the jar. Then they die.
She then complains about them dying.
I told her the solution was to plant them in soil.
She went; Hm..nah too much trouble' and continued her system. The store loves her.
Rosemary would be good. Orégano and thyme would also be great.
AWESOME video but al this plant are easy to propagate but what about others plantas like chiles, some fruit trees not figs are easy as well.

When propagating in soil, humidity matters the most. Hence you should've used a propagator.
Tools should be *disinfected*… sterilization is a whole different level. Isopropyl alcohol, lysol, and peroxide are some of the choices. You also want to root your cuttings in shallower containers… it's harder to keep the media at the top of a 1 gal. pot moist. Great stuff… thanks… I'm off to start snipping!

I tried this so many times and have yet to get one to live. Perhaps it’s not possible at high altitude & arid climate. I gave up after buying 5+ plants.
I can’t wait to do this.
Some say break an egg under the dirt and that feeds the new plant. What do you think. Or some say egg shells mixed in the dirt. Can I do Rosemary ? Cilantro ? What about a peace Lilly.? Sorry I’m full of questions.

How do you keep the Basil from flowering? I bought some basil plants last January and right away it started flowering. I was really disappointed.
