  1. Hey, cant you use bonsai techniques to take the top and bottom root ball off, then re plant in same container? Would really like you to NOT have to chop that beauty down

  2. I have a pot only slightly smaller that I paid 15$ for. I've 6 of them. I'm really curious how that Coffee tree is still doing so well. All mine have passed on, after doing wonderfully well for a few years…then…dead.

  3. You should look into bonsai culture. I've been doing bonsai for nearly two decades now. You can almost keep a tree in the same pot for many years by repotting and root pruning at the right time. Anyway I always enjoy your show.

  4. Luke, Luke, seriously look into bonsai culture. I'm confident if you treated this as a bonsai that coffee tree will outlive your great grandchildren.

  5. bro dont be sad about stealing a seed, you literally saved that seeds life you did more good than bad your a good man for saving that seeds like and giving that coffee tree a good and happy life! 😀

  6. Use should check out Ross Raddis channel he's an expert on container trees. If u do a hard prune and root prune it instead of up potting it. It will ho through I a few months of stress but it will bounce back. I've tried it horrifying the first time but we'll worth it.

  7. I'm venturing into the coffee tree world as I purchased some seed form you and also ordered a plant from Hawaii buy my question is if you cut the tree down years down the road bc it out grows the root ball couldn't you also trim down the root ball as well to maintain its size ? Your videos have helped me in my gardening journey!

  8. I wish I could buy a green coffee bean from you and try growing my own! I’ve got a south-facing porch in the Midwest US – gets hot as hades in the summer!
