  1. Please delete if you do not wish to have this here but I am working at getting a downpayment for my homestead. I work and am saving as much as I can but it isn't enough and I could really use some help. I recently created a gofund me and would be extremely grateful for any donations or help I could get in getting the downpayment. Thank you

  2. I hope nobody complains about watching baby pigs because they are adorable! Please show them more. They won’t stay little for very long I’m sure.

  3. Great progress! Happy for you folks. Before you paint that brick, please think about resale. Maybe talk to a realtor friend? Not sure about there in Arkansas, but here in the DFW area of Texas, painted brick is not so popular.

  4. I’m with you Toby, it’s never easy seeing animals in pain or struggling. It’s even harder making the decision of whether or not they will thrive… but loving animals is also such a great thing!

  5. Miah (& Toby), thanks – enjoyed your VLOG. I have a soft heart (city girl) so losing an animal has always been a bit tough for me, and I was emotional watching Toby honor that little piglet (in another video)….my heart hurt for him but on the other hand, I so admired his strength and bravery and willingness to put his heart out there and deal with the reality of it all. Impressive for such a young little gentleman. I'm 55 and about to get my first chickens, for eggs. (We've been working hard building a coop. SO EXCITED!) I have anxiety thinking about eating something that I've spent time feeding. I don't know if I'll EVER have that farm mentality of the circle of life. My chickens will probably die of old age. Wish me luck!

  6. Cool walkabout and great listening to your more practical side of maintaining the farms, infrastructure and animals as without it, the farm will not function. You are sort of the skeletal structure and muscles of the farm, and Jess the meat and skin

  7. I love that your junk/re-cycling pile is organized. People don't realize how often you can use those things especially if you know where they are.
