I kinda like the white part of it as well, which I have to leave untouched according to this video
This is awesome! I like to eat the entire thing though, but good to know.
Yuppp this is what I did. Bought some organic green onions and organic soil, haven't bought any from the store since
My bulbs float, is that a problem?
Hi! After planting them how many times a week do I have to water them?
This might be a totally stupid question, but could I get multiples from just one scallion? The white bit is my favourite part of the scallion!
Very useful! Thank you I shall be trying with my next bunch of onions!
Do you need to change the water every so often?
The soil you use…is that just plain peat moss?
Can you regrow onions, chop them off, and regrow again…?
Do you clip them when you harvest or pull whole stem with bulb? Also can I put more than 2 in a jar?
what if i need to use the white part too
nice
Glad I watched this right now for I bought green onion at store yesterday, and would have eventually tossed some as it wilted in the frig. TY
have a kitchen window I could change potted green onions from for over winter. Gets sun, but not full blast since window looks out to covered patio. I would've liked to hang smallish pots around that window for italian parsley, BASIL, and sage that I use in cooking, but don't know about the lighting. BTW made a Delish meal, first time, that has sage in it the other day. YUMS
I just bought a pack of green onions and wondered about this and came across you! Absolutely love your channel thanks for saving me tons of money because I love green onions!
Hello, does the pot you grow them in need drainage holes or is it fine without ??
This method is nice & useful
Do these spring onions propagate after planting in soil?
Thank you so much. With a small bunch costing almost $1.00, I need this.
Thank you fantastic video!!
LOL! But some of us actually like to eat the white part!
Don't understand what you gain. You put one green onion and get one back. You can't even use the rest of what you cut. So one whole spring onion is lost in growing.
Thank you i Just did this but had to make sure i did it right
Can I dig the green onion out of my raised bed and bring it indoors as a potted plant over winter?
Can I "replant" it into my raised bed during spring?
Why did 91 people not like this ?
