  1. So… a cheap modified electric go-cart would have been simpler and more efficient? I mean… it is neat… just WOW on the overkill for two people laying down and going less than 1 mph. I mean…. at first it seems smart… then the more I watch the less intelligent the design becomes.

  2. And here lies the challenge with organic farming – it tends to be very labour-intensive, and labour in most developed countries is not cheap. And that particular task looks kinda dreadful to have to do for any length of time, so assuming those arms have people attached to them, I feel for them.

  3. Curtis & Andrew, very cool. Andrew, I like your approach to doing large scale ag as reasonably regenerative as possible. The techniques developed by you and others will show the path forward.

  4. I am currently building a small market garden semi-autonomous fully electric tractor
One of many attachments for this tractor will be a prone weeding station.

over the next few months I'll be posting updates on my Instagram FarmerDaveSLC. I am hoping to have these available for sale mid 2020

  5. Can they lay down a black barrier strip and plant the seends in holes in the black barrier strip? The barrier strip blocks the light and inhibits the weeds, all you need to pull are those that come up the seed hole?

  6. for christ sake, are we employing middle age thinking with solar technology now? They have robot cooks … when are ppl like this going to work together with some asian tech guys.

  7. I love this thing so much. I just like the idea of a machine that has human arms coming out the bottom as it creeps along. I love even more that this guy convinced not one but three people to get inside of it.
