  1. Stubborn girl for sure ! She's like,( "I'll do it MY way, thank you very much ) lol. We have one that's just as bad right now. Best not stick your hand in that nesting box, you're gonna get pecked several times.

  2. God laughed, we got down to 32 degrees with rain Friday. I had a hen
sitting in my flower bed. Take the dogs out for a last potty break & hear babies crying! Grab momma, babies, eggs & all, put them in a large tote in the basement. All are well, 11 babies, 3 eggs still. Thank you so much for all of your amazing life experiences that help others!

  3. I agree with everything you said (as if that's of any value to anyone!). You may be able to do your cleaning all around her without stressing her too much, but…if it were me… I'd put a teepee, tent very large box or something over her so she couldn't see what's going on & then FLY through that cleaning job in double time, so that, by evening you could be totally done & you could get on outta there. Maybe uncover her before leaving for the night or not depending on the hens mood & whether things have changed so much that she may need a day to peer out of her tent & reacclimate before removing the tent over her. Is she now out in the open? or does she still have things around her nest spot so she feels secluded & protected?

  4. My thoughts…….Thieves cleaner is AMAZING, your husbands ball cap is broke in and stylin', I'd wear it, and Miss Sherlie feels your cleanin' can wait, but oh how I know the urge to wanna move her. I can't wait until the candling video, they never get old. Blessings 🙂

  5. I'll just leave my cobwebs be for the moment and say they are decorations for Halloween, hahahaha. I just love the way you talk to your feathered ladies. I talk to my animals like that too. I love your personality and your knowledge (Even when your critters are like "uh huh, tell that story again. I'll do the opposite! " LOL )
