We always thought there was a "traffic jam" in the hen's reproductive tract and the egg got coated with shell repeatedly like a pearl.

Would younger hens start producing fairy eggs prior to molt or fall? They were all laying really well and now I'm getting fairy eggs every so often. Just curious.I

I have a question does that typically happen with ducks? Can you do a video with ducks can duck eggs look like that as well
One of my chooks laid something very similar 3 days in a row… the day before the first one appeared 2 guinea fowl moved into the chicken run and coup… it was so obviously stress – they were perfectly fine inside. My chooks are all about 4 months old, so not geriatric, just a tad stressed out methinks. Nice to your beautiful eggstravaganza!
