  1. Wow I can’t believe I found this channel. We live in Cabot just south of you. Glad I found someone on YouTube from my area now I can get some tips on growing down here in the hot summer. We do grow vegetables in a very small raised garden and next year I’m really going to work on that! This is the first video I’ve watched of yours looking forward to seeing more of them!

  2. yesterday i prepped and froze jalapeno poppers. even with with the mild tam jalapenos, i was a coughing and sneezing mess. I didnt realize how strong it was going to get just by blanching the peppers. I wish I had opened the windows before I started ! 🙂

  3. Hey jess, You got a fire burning under me to get a farm going! So we moved up north to central Minnesota from the city’s and I first want to say thanks. We needed to see your show first and I wanted to start a YouTube channel more so for my kids to have memories of what we did and what we are doing like a Journal or diary. Just wondering what you would Suggest to get started? God bless you and thanks!

  4. When I dehydrate my Cajun Belle peppers, I do them in the garage (which is attached). I have to go through the garage to get into the yard/garden/driveway, and that is how I take my dog out as well. Every time I had to go into the garage I was met with the sweetest aromas this side of the Pecos River …. I would do them in the house in a heartbeat if it wasn't for my dog. Cajun Belles are hot enough to make pepper flakes, but not hot enough to send you packing. For me, they are too hot to eat raw …. I will do a very little taste test on them, and I have tried them in a salad once ….. big mistake ~8^) Even though they are dehydrating in the garage, the aromas will eventually get into a lot of the rest of the house …. much to my delight lolzzzzzz! If you could capture those aromas, please email me some! Heh heh. Take care & happy peppering.

  5. Rather than using the cast iron on the stove, you can leave the peppers whole and put them on a broiler pan under the broiler. You can get more done at one time.
Good video..the fun of saving the produce!

  6. With slightly soft peppers, I dehydrate them and then grind them into a pepper powder. It works well and is a yummy spice for a lot of different meals!

  7. Your garden shot from the house, in the drizzling rain, was like "eye candy" for a gardener even though it's in the last stages for the 2019 season. Was so glad you "showed" us even though it wasn't the day you had planned for outside filming! "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance[c] upon you and give you peace." Num 6:24-26 By His Grace Alone…
