Man…seeing all that MUD makes me want to throw DRY DIRT or SOMETHING all over that SLUSH! Ugh. What a big, brown MESS for YOU & your ANIMALS. Wasn't it Elijah that prayed the RAIN would STOP for 3 YEARS and it DID? Yeah…THAT. ☀️☀️☀️
Always learning from your videos. You are giving such a special gift. We thank you….Justin and Cindi Moore
Teare up newspaper and put it in the pen. This should stop them from pecking each other.
What about the ducks
I lovely This, thank you
How do you stay so happy and positive?
You are such a beautiful soul. Blessed you are ❤️
What kind of chicken is the one with black and white spots?
My hens love cat food! When I let them out for the day they run straight to my back door to eat the cat food ❤️
Thanks Patera.
I have been adding dog food to my hen's feed for ages. A little bit added to their feed raises the protein percentage.
Either way for the feather eatin, I would predict either boredom or needing more protein, feathers, hair and nails have protein. Appreciate your vids.
You ain’t the only one sister. Spring time please
Great Video !!!!! My year round feed mix is equal parts 16% layer feed, Whole corn, Whole oats, Black Oil Sunflower Seed, and 32 % Fish pellets. In addition they occasionally get millet/ sorghum, and 24% game-bird feed. We also give the ribs and entrails/ scrap meat from deer to them in fall.
You have mud!! Canning today here on the homestead!
Catfood, curdled milk or milkpowder, or ground meet, my hens get som of that every day.
Excellent…great Information
Excellent…great Information
My chickens feathers are missing within 2 days on her lower neck to back ???? Other rooster is trying to mount her???? I can’t figure it out I only have 3 hens and 1 rooster. Is it protein????
Great information! I have one question; I have a 6 week old baby chick who is pecking at its feathers, especially underneath the wings (the only one out of my 6 chicks.) I've put powdered her with DE to no avail as she continues to pluck her feathers. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you! I love your channel!
Thanks for sharing❤❤❤
Thank you for these tips this will be my first year going thru molt going to buy these and have them on hand for when I see feathers falling
Thank you for all your information
I have a young rooster , almost 4months old , he ate one of the other chickens tail feathers and now the next afternoon he is still sounding like a broken squeak toy . Any answers as to how to get it out ? Or just let it be ?
