  1. I just bought a hopefully good grow light. I had some but they weren't strong enough and my tomato's were getting leggy. They're in my bathroom because my house is always cold except the bathroom.

  2. If you have a Harbor Freight, they sell a heavy duty powerstrip with 20 outlets, I have one on the back of my entertainment center and one out in my she shed. they run about $22 dollars and have a fuse so they don't overload. may even sell them at other stores but I have only seen them at my Harbor Freight.

  3. Jess I have one of those tractor supply greenhouses, one of the little ones with the green plastic cover over it that you put together. I took 1×2" boards and cut them the length of my lights and attached the lights to the boards. Then on the other side of the board I put cup hooks and then cut small chain about 19-12" long and put on the cup hooks and then bent the cup hooks closed so the chains would stay put. Then on the other end of the chains I got the little tiny S hooks and attached to the chain and that way you can lower your lights to the cell packs for better light. Walmart sells the little S hooks in a small pack for like .98 I think it is. This way you can lower or raise the lights to fit the needs of the plants. I just hook them on the shelves above. Works wonderful. Just thought I'd share it with you. We don't keep it hot in our house so I use this little greenhouse and that way the plants stay warmer in there with the cover over them. The lights put off some heat to. I love your shelf and have been wanting one of those for all my kitchen appliances to.

  4. When you decide to do fodder. Try a few trays before you commit to it. You will find that some of your goats will like it, others will look at you like " and what were you thinking today". The chickens will love it.. and the ducks will pick at it. We did fodder for a time. No matter what mix I used, the same goats always had that look when I brought it out. Now, there is no way I could up with the cows liking the tops. The chickens will eat the whole thing… root system and all. Like I said, determine who you want to feed with it and then adjust your amounts accordingly. You will love watching them eat them.

  5. I'm working on editing a video right now about my new grow light setup… I'm the same way when it comes to being really frugal by I got tired of my shop lights not being strong enough and some plants would get taller than others and I would keep having to take them down off the shelf and switch out the ones that were getting leggy with the ones that were getting plenty of light, or taking them outside when it was sunny & dropping the tray & breaking some of them, or my husband would move them to cut grass & damage one, (plus it would just KILL my back to keep bending over picking up all the trays, taking them outside & then back in every day), etc.! So this year I purchased 2 really good lights, they can be 3 feet away from the plants & they wont get leggy & I dont have to take them in and out, in and out, to get sun, & I'm sooooo happy I did! It was sooooo worth the investment!

  6. I love watching you guys but I could have sworn that you said that you did not sell your produce. So am I mistaken or isn't that what you said?
One other thing for about he's been saying I bless are you saying God bless or you bless? Sorry I'm just a little confused on what's going on here. I have faithfully watched you for a long time and I just would like to understand where you're coming from.

  7. I find y'all very family-oriented and it's wonderful to see that on TV or YouTube. You certainly are a breath of fresh air, I just had a few questions.

  8. I'm struggling right now with what grow light to purchase for my seedling starts. Not growing to full flower. What was your final decision on which one you liked the best? Thanks Much

  9. You LOOK wonderful. LAUGHTER ,NICE TO HEAR. !! I think the first video I saw was when Your man was working afTer work and putting in garden poles , I think it was friend that got clocked in the head w/ the pole slammer. Not funny ouch, but a little funny. Happy you came up when I put ,Growing Lights. Thanks , Maria

  10. I just returned that Vivosun simply due to the horrible wire hanging system that forces a loss of 8-9" per shelf. I'm going with 6500k 5000lm LED strips. Pack of 6 4 footers is around 86 bucks. Will use extras in garage etc But yea, putting them on top of extra shelves is good too. I wonder how much it diffuses it?
