  1. Ok I'm cracking up laughing..even licking your tomatoes is a little wierd for me. I ordered the 5 pack of HOSS SEED PLUG TRAYS yesterday using Stive Tribe promo(free pack of seeds) funny because I told the woman now they have JESS.from ROOTS AND REFUGE using them she laughed about that. IT'S just a good product..the bottom waterers were back order. I grew 4 or 5 varieties this past year. My favorites are Red Pontiacs they did very well here in 6B. total potato harvest was 70 lbs..yes weigh them. I thought I would like to try fingerling I cut mine in about 4 pieces. You know Jess all jokes aside Miah could start a business building green houses kinda like tree house builders..I believe it would be very profitable and I will take a ten percent cut for discovering him.:)

  2. I always try to insure three eyes per cutting, dust with anti-fungi sulfur. Can double the amount of sets per sac of taters. Careful growing potatoes, remember you have to dig all those things. Too many plant twice as many as they want to dig. Hope you are rested up, it's almost go time! Spring is upon us!

  3. You can check the channel Home Grown Vegetables, he has a good vlog on getting a jump start on potatoes, you may not need that there but I am in zone 5b , we still have snow. I will be trying his tip.

  4. I'm glad you posted this!! I saw it yesterday and decided to try the spot technique on some of my tomatoes and a couple of the peppers that were having trouble with retained seeds and a couple of them are already better today!

Also I cannot tell you how hard it is not to be impatient with germination. All of my tomatoes had germinated except my Barry's Crazy Cherry and I was worrying that I had done something wrong. They finally sprouted up two days ago – at least 5 days behind the others!

  5. haha you're adorable lick your seedlings. Ben is just to cute as usual. Oh my your piglets are just precious. I wish I could raise Mangalistas too. I Bless you my dear. and thank you for sharing. OH, I did get me Clyde's garden planner with your logo on it too. I keep it close by and have referred to it several times already.

  6. Ben is Soooo Cute! I wish my kiddos were small again (all grown and gone). It's great that your children get to live on a farm and learn so much from you. They won't forget it. My dad taught me about cutting potatoes for planting when I was young and was amazed at how many people didn't know about it.

  7. There are many things that made me smile in this video. Thank you for sharing the joy! The title made me very curious about what you were going to talk about. That makes so much sense on using saliva. It has some digestive enzymes, so I am guessing they also help break down the seed coat in addition to the moisture. Benjamin is too cute! I shall now refer to my growing seed collection as my loot. 🙂

  8. So I watch y’all’s videos and everyone keeps saying determinate and indeterminate for tomatoes and I have been planting for a couple of years and never seen those words on any of my packs of seeds how do I find out which one I got??

  9. I've never grown colorful things like you do, but since I have watched a lot of our vids I have ordered me some colorful seeds to plant 🙂 I want to also order me some of those purple beans you had running on your cattle panels but can't remember the name of them. Those would be easy to pick since you can see them better than the green ones against the green leaves.
