Time To Sow Your Winter Pea Crops! In this video, I show you how I sow my Sugar Snap Peas using the no till, no dig method of gardening. Watch as we cover all the basics from bed preparation, seed spacing, actual planting, and mulching.
No till gardening is one of the best ways to practice regenerative gardening in your own backyard. Every time we disturb the soil (for no reason) we do more harm than good. Think of your entire soil profile as a living organism with the majority of its life residing within 3-4 inches of the soil surface.

Looks great Jeff! Our pea beds, sadly, are still snow bound. Soon!

Bless the noleg
The video is very nice and I like your slippers too
Do I need to cover my snap peas to protect from the frost?
Could I compost with coco coir?
I know this is a late comment, I have some pea seeds which say three are good for planting in autumn/winter, it says they need to be established before first frost. How long does it take for them to be established and what does “established” mean? Sorry if that’s a stupid question, I’m a gardening noob
Did you do a follow up video for these winter peas? Thanks!
That looks like a pretty fine coarse straw…is it animal bedding from a pet store?
