  1. Great video. I have couple ginger plants myself but they seemed to have stopped growing (stunted) and they have plenty of space, they're only like 12" tall.

  2. I absolutely LOVE this channel. You provide with so much quality information on items found in our local supermarkets that we may begin with. As a woman of Caribbean descent, ginger is a must-have in the house for its many properties in addition to taste.

  3. Hey, anyone that's interested in sharing their own gardening experiences, knowledge, and successes, please feel free to join the Facebook Group "Growing, Better". Its run by The Ripe Tomato Farms and is a great spot for everyone to share, rather than just us posting videos and then responding to as many comments as possible. Much more community feel and as the numbers increase, we increase our expert knowledge in different geographic locations and climates. That's when the information gets hyper specific and accurate and most of all, helpful! Join and share today, everyone from all experience levels are welcome!

  4. You can regrow store bought ginger and turmeric. Just make sure its organic so there is no growth/root inhibitors on them. But soaking them over night can help you chances if they have been treated. The ginger has long slender leaves. The turmeric is wide leafed. Easy to tell which is which in the same container. Mine are year 2… wintered over in a dry protected area on my patio. I may see blooms this year on the plants, all have re-sprouted. Cant wait.

  5. Great episode again. In your future video, would you explain about which

vegitable is good ph level, and rhe fertilizer numbers such as 5-10-10, 0-20-0 something like that. Thanks. .

  6. Is there an update to this video? I am just about getting ready to plant in my ginger in 20 gallon grow bags when it gets a little more warmer here in AZ. You video was very helpful. Hoping to hear from you. Thanks!

  7. I'm glad that YouTube suggested this video. I think it's reading my thoughts at this point. I will be starting my ginger as soon as this storm passes through Georgia.

  8. Hello my friend. Do you think containers would also work for Awapuhi ginger? There is little info available for growing in cold climates. I'm successful with culinary ginger in containers, inside in cold weather. I'm zone 7 Delaware.
P.S. any suggestions for getting turmeric to break dormancy?

  9. Hi deAr. I love our Facebook group. And I m always there.
But after I wrote some comments about lomi advertising. I received an sms that I was removed by owner . Please help me go back. This is not fair. And against right of speech. I am not the one who should remove.
