  1. Hi MI gardner …. My self Ganesh from south india a huge amount of coffee is grown in our country side mainly Arabica and robusta but i stay in mangalore that is a coastal city majorly in our country coffee is grown in coorg that is almost 1200 mtrs above sea level …my question to you is can i grow coffee in mangalore that is only 25 mtrs above sea level ????

  2. Very cool! i have a coffee tree in my coffee shop and this year it went crazy on the cherry production! Can i ask what watering schedule you use? I do about 6 months of regular watering and six of less watering. Trying to mimic what it would get where it would normally grow.

  3. While the plant is from Ethiopia, the drink was first brewed in Yemen and much of the modern coffee trade originated from the port of Mocha. A lot of Yemenis brew the dried coffee husk to make a drink called qishr, I love it!

  4. The pulp husk of the coffee bean has 500 times more antioxidant then vitamin C. Several companies make ( or have attempted) drinks from the pulp.

  5. I took your advice about adding lava rock to the coffee plant’s coffee mix. Since I had extra lava rock, I used it in my pepper’s potting soil instead of buying more vermiculite. I don’t know it it’s the iron in the lava rock, but the pepper transplants in their new lava soil is crazy vibrant. It reminds me of how my cat gets on catnip.

  6. I have 4 coffee plants that was started from little plants in november 2018. Out of the 4 plants that was growing underneath a avacodo tree, one of them are blooming already and all of the are just 2 and half years old. Greeting from florida.
