Well, I think Ms. Shirley would be quite proud! It appears that 2021 is shaping up to be "The Year of the Cattle Panel Trellis." Pretty sure half the farm supply stores in the country are already sold out of them! When I finally get mine, I'll be sure to plant some Shirley Double poppies nearby in her honor!
Hi Jess! not sure if you'll see this comment, but I was wondering, do you trellis determinate tomatoes as well or do only indeterminate tomatoes need trellising? If you don't, what do you use to give support to your determinate varieties? I tried both tomato cages and stakes last year and by the end of the year all of my plants were tipping to one side because the cages and stakes couldn't support their weight. Maybe I need to try a t-post instead of a smaller plant stake this time? Would love your advice.
Wow – good deal on the panels. Up here in Canada we pay around $60 retail per panel, hog panels and garden panels are even more. Love the idea though and we do use them for arches.
I've been watching lots of your videos, and you've mentioned so often how humid it is where you live, that I've decided to check and compare to where I am (zone 5bish, Eastern Ontario, Canada). We average 60% here, and you guys seem to be averaging 70s-80s. I could not fonction without A/C in the Summer!! I was in Afghanistan for 9 and a half months, temperature went above our thermometer's capacity (max was 61 Celsius), but the humidity over there is much lower, and I was able to get used to the weather there better than some of our hottest Summer days here, at 32 or 34 Celsius, with 70% humidity! You humble me in so many ways! Love your channel!

Hey Jess… Doing some indoor and outdoor hydroponics this year so Im gardening again. Figured it was the best way to maximize my space as the city has a lot of wires in my backyard. Was looking at keeping plants upright and it put me on this video from last year, so im saying hi. Figure youre prolly getting into the swing of things too so ill be looking forward to hearing more from you in the future
this is EXACTLY what I'm looking for! I have about 20 tomato plants and a little over 300 feet of cattle fencing! just 1 question. how far do you place your t posts apart for your tomatoes? I know you said the tomatoes you plant about every 20 inches. i currently don't have the t post, so just wondering how many i should buy?

I love the colors
With vertical gardening your fence becomes square footage for squash and beans. This makes a big difference when you live in a suburban neighborhood where the yards are too small for a full sized dog! I dig this cow fencing for my cucuzza and pinto beans! Plus it makes the fence look better than just lame ass pine planks!
