I will start planting tomorrow. Little late but that’s ok
Been planting Stuuf for years. I started my seeds out side. Never in side. But l guess l just don’t have a in side. But it works fine for me.
I am soooo envious of your green house. You have such a great channel. You will keep growing and be a big success on YouTube.
It is difficult to harden plants where I live. The temps, sun, and wind can drastically change several times in a day. I invariably forget to sometimes bring them in after a couple hours when the weather changes. It’s difficult to keep bringing multiple plants in and out of the house. It really takes a number one focus. But the results are worth it.
Can you please though do a video on when those plants start to harden, and the insects are already attacking them? Even before they are fully hardened off. I have killed plants by dousing in too much Neem oil or other stuff. Tiny insects often love those young plants.
Wow i discovered you like today
Great video! TFS
Been watching tons of awesome YouTubers but no-one talked about wind-burn ever. I learned something new. Thank you.
Thats exactly what I wanted to know!! Thank you very much.. 🙂
I planted my pumpkin plants outside, but the night temperatures got around 3 degrees celsius. Day temperatures get around 19 degrees. Before it got around -1 or 0. Some of my pumpkin plants didn't survive. What happened to this world? The past year it was 13 degrees in the night I think. When it was day around 20 degrees.
Picking up tons of great tips from your channel. Thank you very much!

I just had snow over night :/
Thanks for the video! I been losing basil seedlings over the past couple of weeks from trying to harden them off. Now I know why.
I have followed along and successfully germinated basil, cucumber and tomatoes as per your instructions. Will continue! thanks much!
Great timing on your video Jeff. My brassicas go out in 1.5 weeks, so I'll start hardening them early next week
After 6 weeks in my basement nursery, I have had my peppers in a huge bay window full sun all day for the last full month. I topped them two weeks ago and they are spectacularly lush and bushy. I moved them outside yesterday under a covered patio, it is 18 degrees celcius sunny and a nice breeze. Today they look a little stressed I assumed all those days in the full sun had weather hardened them. Is it normal for them to look stressed under the conditions I have mentioned, I have 140 pepper plants and I dont want anything to go wrong. My plants are 6 inches tall and 8 inches wide with about thirty leaves on each one.
Thank for all your informative information! I really enjoy learning from you! Blessings!
This is called "How to Harden Off Your Spring Plants" but all you really show are the reasons why you need to harden off the plants, not the actual steps to harden them off.
I've heard you can begin to harden off young plants indoors by using a fan to replicate wind…is this true?..I need to start hardening off now but it's either too cold or to windy…please help…thank you
