  2. I have a question. I have read that if you leave some things on the plant until they are over ripe, the plant will think it is done for the season and will begin to die. Is this true?

  3. I’m loving these garden quickies! They’re super informative and interesting little reminders to stop and smell the roses (or fruit), and grow something wonderful. They really do make my day. Thanks!!

  4. My neighbor has his own backyard garden, and for whatever reason I would sometimes see corn and tomato vines growing underneath my bushes. I would usually just let them grow and so I could get fresh corn and tomatoes

  5. I'm struggling with green onions even growing, let alone getting to the point where I can save seeds! LOL But I'm definitely saving seeds from the rest this year. It'll be the first time I save seeds from my lettuce but it does look super easy.

  6. And don't forget to save seeds for flowers*….you need pollinators as much as they need your flowering plants. Set out some water, changing it every couple days, & you'll deter birds from pecking your tomatoes searching for a drink. Has anyone ever seen with their own eyes a *Hummingbird Moth? I just saw a video from another underappreciated channel & now this magical creature's on my bug sighting bucket list. Cheers, ~ Covah……I'll add its link in comments.

  7. I'm having a problem with some seeds. The arugula, collared and brussel sprouts seeds have been infected with some type of bug or disease. They go dark and insides are moldy looking a greyblack color. Any suggestions ?

  8. Pepers are super easy. I accidentally left a fruit outside where it dried out. The seeds ended up becoming the best for resowing. So it was nice to know I don't have to left the fruit on the plant to dry. Just be careful with wildlife

  9. I have just let a plant of bok choi go to seed. It does not take very long to seed, produces so many seeds, and the bees etc love it. And it looks pretty too.

  10. Thanks for this – something I want to do more of although it seems complex in smaller spaces with some things that cross-pollinate easily. Nice to know I can try the lettuce that’s bolted, I didn’t read yet they are mostly self-pollinating.
