Thank you for sharing knowledge. The way grand parents lived might be gold in the near future. The less we depend on stores and money the more independent we are. Envy is always a sin that we all can commit. Praise our father in heaven that you were given many talents for survival. Many of us were trained to do specialized jobs and are not prepared enough even if we acknowledge the need to look back in the past. Everyone is suited with God’s gifts and the more we share them with our brothers the better off we will be pleasing Our Lord. Even if it takes to listen to our enemies to give them a name. They are the ones that are necessary for us to bare our cross like Jesus did and grow spiritually among evil. God bless your family.
You live in homesteader country it's interesting they do that over there too. I guess they are jealous. I am in Calif and plan on living a homesteading lifestyle. Nothing like you but raising chickens, trout/bass in a large pond and some vegetables in a greenhouse. I am afraid the world is coming to an end. You'd think COVID would wake up people

The worst kind is the kind living right in your own home. Instead of helping, there's always reasons you can't, but where there is a will there is a way. I'm a homeschool mom, caregiver, gardener, homemaker…. God is in control, I'm not letting the negativity to control things.
Today I went out and gathered some wild food, and found it peaceful.
