  1. Beautiful history. I had no idea this special garden method was so detailed! Thank you so much for sharing this!
Native ppls have always had a special place in my heart. I don't know of any in my family but I love them. I follow the Riverwinds ministry and Fire Keepers International. You can find them at theriverwinds dot com. Very delightful and blessed people I think you would enjoy.

  2. Patera can you please let me know what are those seeds you were soaking and what they arevused for? Love your videos thanks for helping me make biscuits during quarantine your recipe was tha bomb.

  3. I’ve never heard of this type of garden before but it sounds absolutely wonderful! Can’t wait to see how it grows. Blessings and butterfly kisses

  4. Shalom! Hello Ms. Patera and Family. My Ancestors are from Tennessee and Louisianna; the Cherokee and Creek people. My Grandmother's brother was Jim McCaulley, father of Ms. Rosa McCaulley Parks, a Native American and Civil Rights Leader. I am so proud to have my Ancestors blood running through my veins. I will plant the Cherokee Way and strive to plant 1 acre per family member. Thank you so much for teaching us the old ways. Blessings to you and yours!

  5. Smart to know something may not grow. Ive planted bush beans twice this year. Only one of three varieties grew. My yard long beans came up too.
Keep up the enthusiasm… and hoping your garden is bountiful and brings you lots of joy.

  6. My husband made hills in our garden for certain plants, just like you did. That butterfly is an ancestor speaking to you. Have you told the story of the corn beads? I'd love to hear it. Thank you.
