if you grind up eggshells and sprinkle it around your basil it will keep slugs away from your plants.. looks amazing.

Hi! I'm not even sure how I found you, but I think you are fantastic! I was overwhelmed with my single bed of tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and basil this summer. Where do you get your energy? Is there a video sharing a bit of your background or did you just jump right in and explore?
Do you just get a huge truck load of dirt in for raised beds or what do you do. Can't imagine buying them by the bag?

We must be twins in another world lol. Same age, same height, same season of life, except you are living my garden/homestead life now! Im full time working wife with a desire to homestead as much as I am able. I am in Iowa so our weather is not Oregon amazingness lol. What do you recommend to up my game? I did tomatoes, broccoli (which failed me) peppers, herbs, onions this year. I am doing garlic for the first time in a few days to over winter in my smaller raised bed. My husband totally supports my hobby so he builds my beds as we need them. Any and all help I will take! Thank you for your videos I just found them today and am binging them lol 🙂
