  1. This all looks so delicious Becky! Thank you for the tip about cooking the turkey from frozen – I had no idea you could do that! Love your videos and look forward to the next one.

  2. You could always mix the chopped peppers in with your filling and call it unstuffed pepper casserole. I would put ranch powder in your white sauce for the turkey bacon peppers.

  3. My grandmother always wrapped everything in 2 layers of wax paper and 2 layers of foil. I do press and seal, and foil. Honestly I think my grams way was better, especially for baked things.

  4. You are so amazing! I made some standard Italian ground beef stuffed peppers to freeze for ready to eat meals. I used red peppers from my garden and got a tip from watching an Italian grandmother making stuffed peppers. She roasted her peppers before stuffing them. I decided to roast my peppers too and stuffed them with pretty much a raw Italian meatloaf type stuffing. The roasted pepper adds such a nice layer of flavor. It is a little more trouble to roast them and they are a a touch difficult to stuff because they are limp from roasting. But the flavor of those red roasted peppers is delicious! Will totally do this again next year except will make a ton more!

  5. I want to add a caution about using foil with a tomato based sauce. My understanding is that you shouldn't ever use foil on a dish that contains tomatoes If it comes in contact directly with the foil then there is a chemical reaction. The acids in the tomato can actually leach the metals into your food.
If there is a layer of cheese, as there is in these dishes, then there is no issue.
