VIDEO: Vegetables in the Greenhouse #gardening #gardeninguk

It’s a busy time of the growing season so lets see what’s tomatoes are growing in the greenhouse. We also take a look at some January King Cabbage and the flowers growing in the garden. If you don’t have a greenhouse but do have space for one in your garden or allotment then do try and invest in one as they really help with seed germination and extending your growing season.

  1. what could be better than toms, cukes, peppers and aubergines 🙂 I was surprised to see only 10C! – lovely flower border (was the 'white lily thing' a zadentaschia? )
nice january king cabbage (i'm growing those too) some lovely blackberries (everything seems early this year don't you think mate?)

  2. Hi Adam, Your father has done well, it's not that easy to successfully grow tomatoes and cucumbers in the same house. They really need quite different growing conditions. When tying in plants to canes, we used raffia with the tie always once round the plant and twice round the cane. The single lettuce in the garden looks like Webbs Wonderful.
