I just saw this video for the first time (sorry so late) and I have to say that your humble demeanor and your genuine appreciation brought me to tears. I remember when you first started and had only a few thousand subscribers. You were a little nervous but your clear love of your garden and your excitement was contagious. I watch a lot of the same gardeners that you have mentioned and you became one of my favorites pretty quickly right up there with the others. I've loved gardening for a really long time but the usual confusion and the "why" always caused me to get discouraged. You renewed that interest and love and actually helped me to improve by your clear and honest approach in your own garden. This road has been fun. Watching you grow, literally and figuratively has been such a pleasure. Shoot for the stars, Jess. I have all the faith that you will arrive. Your name WILL be known the world over, just like your mom said.

As I’m sitting here in my home watching this and washing dishes as I look out the window I can see my hogs rooting up my garden for next year because of the wisdom that you have shared. Your child like faith and the rose colored Lens that you put on the end of your camera to walk through your life and your faith has inspired me to believe that I can also appreciate the little things. After moving and changing churches and trying to fit in I truly feel that when I watch your videos I am being sharpened by a friend and the fruit that comes from the permission that you have given me to not push down my whimsical and poetic thoughts has allowed me to carry around that lens again And look on my children, my farm and my husband with new eyes.
