  1. Patara, so good to see you. Thanks for this great recipe. I’m gunna try it this week! And I bet this process would make some fine onion rings! And folks who don’t have a beautiful mortar and pestle like Patara, all you need is a ziplock bag for those yummy looking kettle chips!

  2. I was just thinking this morning that I hadn't listened to you in awhile and since my notification do not seem to be working correctly I specifically went to your channel this morning and saw you had been MIA. Hope all is well for you and yours. Sending thoughts and prayers from Central Texas!

  3. I love how charming your new kitchen is. Love the wallpaper. 44 years ago, when were first married, I had to pick new wallpaper for our kitchen. A kitchen design was still available. Paper had small appliances, kitchen utensils and other favorite kitchen items. I was 20 and my older siblings couldn't believe that was my choice. I just love the older traditions. You're looking great!

  4. Your fried green tomatoes look heavenly! You could also crush up some cornflakes and use it for the final coating. My grandmother would wrap her green tomatoes in newspaper, and store them in a cool, dark area, and they'd ever so slowly ripen, and she'd served them sliced at Thanksgiving, and sometimes even Christmas dinner.

  5. Happy Sunday!!! Just wanted you to know, I took you in the kitchen with me today on my laptop, and we made fried green tomatoes …they were So Good, and were picture perfect. The batter was delicious, and crispy. I've made them before, but never had followed all the steps that you do, until today. We dipped them in Ranch Dressing, because my husband could drink the stuff I do believe. Well worth the time and effort. Thank you So Much! God Bless.
