  1. I love this birthing video. What a miraculous time. I wanted to mention that I watch a video a couple weeks ago about peppers being perinials. It might be something you might want to look into especially for the peppers you really like. I think it was Next Level Gardening. God bless!

  2. I had really gentle sows. I kept Hamps and Berks mostly, one blue butt that was a big disappointment. My Dad (87) had some run-ins with some really nasty sows as a kid tho. Gramma loved her cows, wasn't a big fan of pigs. I really feel socializing them as piglets goes a long ways. But you are right, don't trust any of them especially when maternal instincts kick in. It's a very cautious watch and see approach.

  3. I so agree I love to give my produce away I did it one time at work and I had people saying why don't you sell this stuff you can make lots of money by selling it and I said but then the joy of the giving is gone

  4. My great grandpa use to have to take the new baby pigs so the 400lb sow would not roll over on them and crush them. They could be really mean and one chase grandpa up a tree by the lake! Lots of stories. As a kid we got chased out of the creek!
