  1. Inspiration…I have some marble left over from the renovation of my forever home.
Going to ask the stone mason to cut it down and polish some up to give as gifts this holiday.
My kids will have something of this old house to use and pass down

  2. I’m 62 and I have my, both sides great grandmothers iron skillets and Marshall Tx pottery bowls! They are family treasures and I use them almost every day. So a lot of us can totally relate to that yummy family marble slab. God’s Peace!

  3. I made biscuit this morning. Made a big batch and froze some for later. I use the same pan to cook them on. Have a new oven so I might need to up the temp, they take to long and I want them to brown better. Getting ready Thanksgiving and need to make some zucchini and pumpkin bread. Not the best gardener, but I keep trying. Most of the herbs I use I grow and dry myself. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. You make me miss Tennessee so much, I wish when I was still there I cared as much as I do now about caring for my future and my past. Thank you for the wonderful blessing. I hope to come home at some point

  5. My grandma had a wooden bread bowl/though that she made biscuits and pastry in. I spent many a day standing on the chair next to the peninsula in the kitchen helping mix dough. When we were done she scraped the wooden bowl/ trough and shake out the pastry cloth and pit it back in the trough and put it in a big oven bag to store.
