That is gorgeous broccoli. I grow Green Magic up here, too. Of course not this time of year in my climate. Thank you for all you do as a teacher. I can’t imagine what this year has been like for teachers- especially those in the younger years.
Mrs. Lea I have been missing your updates. I hope the classroom is getting easier for you. I know my wife is really tired. I got one or two of my broccolis that are looking really good. The rest are really small. I think they are too close together. A lot of my greens the frost has got for some reason. I will try that green magic variety next year.
BTW you mention you are from Starkville. We rode that way a few years ago and bought some dogs from a guy in that area named Charles Parker. Didn't know if you might know him. Later.

Looks great. We also grew our first broccoli this year in 8a. We already harvested ours. Had one side shoot so far but idk if I’ll get more. It was so Yum! Good job with the cover! Nice tour.
Good to hear from you and Al Lea! The garden is looking very good! I love the broccoli! It is one of only a few vegetables I like. It is nice to see it on the plant instead of the view from the grocery store! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
