I have a premier one heat lamp, make sure you get the light bulbs that they sell, I think there a little different then what you buy from the farm store…works great & I do what you do, ONLY have it on when I’m with my animals… you both keep them smiles going! Blessings to you both! ❤️

Once my barn burnt down about five and half years ago, one of my precious Water Buffalo heifer calves got burnt pretty bad. Thankfully she survived.

Safer barn heater for barn is the Prima Heat Lamps at Premier 1 Supplies for goats and use Sweet Heaters from My Pet Chicken for the chickens a whole lot safer than normal heaters. Are more expensive but well worth it to sleep at night, fire always concern.
Feel for you moved once to new home my sheep gave birth Feb. at new farm. Ended up with 17 in house hand feeding babies, as ewes upset with new barn some left their babies. So in the house they came not much sleep for sure bottle feeding them all could not let any of them die in cold out in barn.
Thank you for saying what you did about the heat lamps. Im part of a chicken group and one lost a small coop and another lost her whole barn. Thankfully they were able to get their animals out of the barn, but is heartbreaking to see the loss.

We know what you mean about baby goats chicks and all ..I say when I die I'll get all the sleep I need than until then I'm going to enjoy all the little ones. Never thought about putting dippers on them ..

My thought about bottle babies is mom rejected for a reason. If they make it great if they don’t ok. In 2016 I had 4 bottle lambs, Donald, Hillary, Bernie and Jill.
