Love your channel and love that you're doing this!!
I do many of the same things…started out of necessity with having a large family.
We don't go through much milk anymore with just 3 of us at home now, but I used to freeze our milk when the oldest 8 of 9 kids were still home! I have lived in both WA and OR, and miss it. Hoping to get back there.
Can we get a bread video on what types of bread you make is it just “sandwich” bread, Italian bread, French?
Just found your channel. SW Washington here! Subscribed!
I LOVE canning up chicken breast! I buy bulk chicken breast to do just that ~ You are going to love doing it that way, and you also get FREE chicken broth~ lol Enjoy~~!!
This is awesome! Would love to buy bulk chicken like that!
Just found your channel. I’m also a new farmer in WA. We are about 4 hrs north of you, and have 5 acres and raise pigs and chickens 🙂
Your cilantro tip works well for Spinach too!
I'd the meat supplier Wallenda Wholesale Meats? Do you have a link or phone number. Having problems finding contact information.
What do you do with the chickens if there is a snow storm?
May I ask what is the website for the Willamette Valley Meat Co?
I bought a pressure canner. Definitely looking forward to your chicken canning video!
Do you defrost the chicken and then refreeze it for your massive bulk cooking days?
I watch your you tube channel all time and love it. Always wanted to live this way and did a very little, and now I am 72 years and your sharing your life thrills me. Am also bedridden most time, so I feel you have added to my life. I just watched your video on bulk meat and you showed the box of meat from Willamette Valley Co. I went to their web site and was unable to find much information. Is there any way I can get more info? Thank you for all you do.
So I always wondered how you came up with learning about your how to make yogurt or some other things where did you get those ideas?
How do you freeze milk ? Take some out fir headspace???
We bought 1/4 steer locally grown this year, and oh my gosh, it is leaps and bounds better than the meat that i got in the grocery store! The flavor and texture are so much better, we will do this every year from now on.
I would love to see a video on how to store produce to last
Would love to see you make tortillas! You can also turn them into chips if you have any left over, but we usually eat them all! It's pretty labour intensive, but maybe you could cheat and use the pasta roller to make it faster.
I know this is from like 9 months ago and I have family in Portland. But I am from Minnesota and it cracks me up that 4-6 inches of snow means you could possibly be snowed in. That isn't enough to keep our kids out of school lol
I tried to check their website, but it’s not showing up? How did you place your order with them?
I’d love to see you can some chicken…
Do you know of any bulk meat places in the southeast
Yes, definitely want to see you use pressure canner! You are my hero!
I had to laugh when you said you might get 4-5 inches and that's a lot for your area. There have been winters where we've gotten 4-5 in a day!
So I just looked them up and I was wondering is it like a store can I just walk in and get meat? Or do I have to order ahead? Their open Monday and we love chuck thighs so I would like to stock up. I’ve gotten them cheap from restaurant depo at Jensen Beach but their not organic.
Can you order this chicken online? Or just a local pickup thing?
