It is looking good, but stressful! We are older and downsized to smaller house and believe me it has been stressful for me. So hang in there!
Exhale. None of it is going any where. Enjoy the process and it will be done soon enough. Paint all the cabinets. With the doors being a different color does look nice though. Enjoy the little things and relax. In all things trust in the Lord it will be done in time. Like your counter top choice. Hope the little chickens eyes get better. Feel sorry for her. Will pray for you for it is busy times. Things get done one thing at a time. Patience and trust in God will get you through it. Do not hurry worry and tackle one thing at a time. You will get through this. Cabinets can wait if need be. Peace.

Typical females….most anyway! And I am a female! Also, I agree with your Nana. Paint all you cabinets and the base same color. I did that and spray painted the hardware instead of buy new because the old holes won't line up with the new hardware.

As far as the cabinets, go with what your first gut feeling was. I'm sorry you had a blue moment the other day(s). It very well could be due to a hormone change or it could be you are doing too much, too stressed out. Or something else. If it keeps happening you should see your family doctor and see if anything physical is going on. I raise chickens but only have 9 right now. I don't know how you do all that you do.

Neosporin or triple antibiotic is good for anything like that. I have used it for years on cats and dogs. When their eyes get mattered up. Within a couple days they are clear of whatever it was.
You have to be very fluid with changes. Because that can happen at any moment or day. And going through renovations is pure chaos. And you just have to go with t h e flow. But we'll worth it in the end.
