  1. Stockpiling food is of course a wise thing to do but…my issue is put it where!? Desperate unprepared hungry gangs can wipe it all out at gunpoint.

  2. We just bought our years worth of hay for our animals 6 months early because I am not confident that we will be able to get it in august/sept and if we can I think the price will be astronomical. Last year it was $240 a ton, I just paid $480 today…that is astronomical enough for me. At least my animals will be fed for the next 19 months. The time to store up animal feed has almost passed. Do it now while it still exists. Crazy times.

  3. With all the prices going up on fertilizers seeds next year are going to be difficult and very expensive to buy. Everyone should stock up now on seeds for the upcoming years. Either save them yourself or buy them. But build a seed pantry.

  4. Russia is the main one for fertilizer, that the world buys from. I know we had a fire that distroyed a fertilizer company in Oregon. So our big food farmers have the gas problem s for their equipment. And now the fertilizer problem, now we add Wierd Weather! Crops are going to be ruff, even growing our small gardens, can fail due to weather. We need to be creative as far as fertilizer and what we can use, I live at the beach, so I am going for seaweed and fish scrap tea.

  5. If you have livestock try your best to get your hay now, if you are in Ontario like I am we had a fantastic hay year last year, lots of people have hay for sale including my farm. This coming summer who knows. Get a tarp if you don't have a shed get your hay when you can

  6. If someone doesn't grow the stuff, how the heck are these people going to make strawberry jam??? People need to open their eyes and see where we are at …….

  7. I have an important question, I'm about to start raising quail and I have bought as much feed as I can now. But if I was not able to get feed for them, how would I proceed? What would you do for your quail?
