Pre-harvest spraying is being phased out for food crops. Several major companies stopped buying sprayed crops since 2015 and pre-harvest spraying is supposedly going to end for grains by 2025. I live in Michigan and never heard of such a practice until now, we have grown cereal grains many times.

Hi, did you know you can freeze flour. Freezing it helps to prevent any weevils getting into it. Once it's frozen (it doesn't freeze solid), you can just use it straight from the freezer. 🙂

I just found you last week from a bulk cooking video & saw this video pop up on my playlist. I Love Winco-I live in AZ and we got winco several years & I have been shopping there since the day it opened. Funny you talked about the gamma lids-I looked at those when I was there shopping this weekend. My store only has the 2 &5 gallon buckets but the lids only fit the 5&7 gallon buckets. Thanks for sharing this info.

I know I'm super late to the party and it may have already been said. But, if you use oil instead of lard when making flour tortillas, they come out thinner. I really appreciate your videos! Thank you for documenting what you do.
You can use the wholewheat flour in your pies and raqout. If you mind the bran you can sift it (and add the brsn to your oats bakes).

If you have enough space you can put your opened bags of grains in the freezer. This keeps them from going rancid.
How can two people possibly use that much food before it goes bad?
Not sure if anybody has mentioned it in the comments yet but wanted to point out that the vinegar from your haul is not ACV but apple flavored vinegar, which lacks the nutritional profile that true ACV has. It's basically a distilled white vinegar with artificial flavoring and coloring, for those who would like to steer clear of those ingredients. Thanks for the fun, informational video! They are not the same flours i dont think, im pretty sure bread flour is stronger than the other flour, whereas the others good for cakes, pasta etc x
