VIDEO: Growing Mango Tree From Seed Time Lapse – 57 Days

I think this is another one i will keep going and make an update video in like 6 months to see how big it will get.

And if anyone wants to do this themselves it’s easier to just wrap the seed in damp paper and put it in a plastic bag. I just used a petri dish so we would be able to see the seed germinating. The seed got a little mold on it but i just wiped it away before planting.

  1. First of all, holy fak, I had no idea that mango seeds started that way. Second, do you have like a heavenly garden in your backyard filled with all the different plants you've started? Lastly, LOVE your videos! <3

  2. I've actually plant my own mango in my backyard and i shit you not, it take me 5 years to grow a mango tree from a seed to harvested state (harvested state means the tree can produce mango fruits) so for those of you who want to grow a mango tree from a seed, just take a seat because it takes a long time for a mango tree to grow, but i can confidently say that it is worth the time and effort though, i mean you're practically have a free mango for the rest of your life the only downside being that it only produce a fruit every once a year and if you can handle all the ups and downs then you can enjoy your free mango
And for those who are wondering, my mango tree still produce mango fruits every once in a year even after 3 years after the first time it can produce a fruit

  3. Don't use a knife to cut the husk open.. use kitchen shears to snip the edge open. It's leagues simpler and your not risking a trip to the hospital. A dollar mango is not worth a possible huge hospital bill and injuring your hand.
