Deer are your worst enemy when it comes to fruit trees. I planted 17 peach trees in my Colorado backyard and one night the deer came through and destroyed the bark with their antlers. We had big mule deer that had no problem jumping over a four foot fence. Loved and hated those deer.

I love the idea of fruit trees and then some blueberries, raspberries and whatever else will grow in whatever area we end up loving/living. I wouls alsdo go semi dwarf with the fruit trees purely based on the harvesting side of things…we all age and if you have the full blown big trees then harvesting them in your 60's and onwards will be troublesome to say the least
Oh how I love when God gives us vivid dreams! Having a relationship with Him is so special on how He talks with us. You can't go wrong with apple and pear trees!! Blessings all!

If there is one thing I have learned is that if you believe that God spoke to you then you never argue with Him! That is a battle you will lose every time whether it is immediately or in the future and seeing where He had wanted you to go. I thought my daughter should take one path with her education and she thought another and she started getting teary eyed and said that she was letting everyone down but she thought God wanted her to do this other path. I said "Wait a minute. Do you really believe God told you to do that?" She said yes and I said "Discussion is over, you do what God told you to do!! You are not letting anyone down cause listening to Him is the most important path."
