We love homemade pasta around her but because I work full time I like to make very large batches and preserve. I will show you how I make my pasta, dry my pasta and how to cook fresh pasta! I hope you try it!

  1. Thanks so much for this video! I have a kitchenaid and the same pasta attachment, but just used it twice, because the recipe I used didn’t turn well. I will try yours next time. BTW, I’ve just found your channel this week and I’ve been binging watching all your videos. Thanks so much for spending time making these videos! I love your freezer meals videos and I’m planning in start making a lot of freezer meals soon.

  2. My mom and I just started making homemade pasta this year, after we got her the kitchen aid attachment for Mother’s Day. It’s been so fun to learn the process, and it tastes so much better than the boxed, processed stuff. Especially because my nana used to make it, as she was adopted into an Italian family and she just fell out of practice due to arthritis in her hands — so we get to make it for her sometimes now 🙂

You definitely don’t need anything fancy. We use all purpose, too, and we actually learned to make it by weight in grams, rather than measurement in cups and such, so that you achieve the same result regardless of the size of the eggs you have on hand and such. There’s a great video on it that we learned that trick from: https://youtu.be/m_fu5RaXMVk

We’ve preserved pasta in small batches, but I had no idea you could preserve it on such a large scale! You’ve definitely inspired me. And I love the bath towel trick you used! I’ve used small hand towels to dry out pasta after cooking, but I never thought to use large towels for the drying process. Genius! Thanks for your informative videos, I’m enjoying them so much 🙂 ❤️

  3. Love this channel. You are doing amazing things. Side note. Alot of pepole are writing books. And uou could do, when ever you make a video wright a recipe and so.e things to go along with it. Amd you coukd sell the recipe with the video for 99 cents and pepole would absalutly buy it.

  4. LOVE cooking. I bought my pasta maker, but my hubby bought me my meat grinder. When he gave it to me, he said the same thing…. "I feel like I am giving you a gift, for me". I told him that was the best kind of gift… a 'WE GIFT!"

  5. Love this! I’ve been binge watching your videos and it has given me so much confidence in doing things myself. Have you ever made gluten free noodles? I’m curious to find a good recipe as my mom cannot have gluten.

  6. Ms Becky My favorite gift from my husband was my kitchenaid many years ago and I will be getting that pasta maker attachment. I love homemade pasta and you made it look so easy and fun. ((hugs))

  7. I tip i got from my mom, crack all the eggs you think you need in a pouring vessel of some kind en beat them to omelet state, then just pour flour and egg mix in the processor. no more water adding needed.
