  1. I have tried 3x on the luffa seeds and have never been able to germinate them! I have found some brands of seeds have a lower germination rate then other brands like burpee I always get low rates.

  2. Can you cut back the branches that hang over the garden bed?? or is it too high up?? I do not buy my seeds from Amazon…I get my seeds from MI-Gardner and Baker Creek as I have gotten seeds and it didn't grow what they say it was.. I will get local seeds at the big box store also only at the end of the year and when they are trying to get rid of them.. same with my Fertilizer I buy it up at the end of the year.. I also try to plant the top 3 tomato plants that does well in my area and the same with pepper plants… I have limited space and I want green beans and tomato to can..

  3. I really do love to get my seeds from Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Wal-Mart has some great seeds that are $1 or less. All of which I have always had good luck with.

  4. Loving your channel! As a fellow PNW girl thought I’d help you out with the pronunciation of Siskiyou as once you know how to say it it’s unforgettable! Sis-Q!

  5. Something to think about when buying seeds, many people have bought the "cheaper" seeds from various places, and what grows is not what it is supposed to be. And seeds are good for many years if stored properly. So even if you spend say $3.50 for a package of 250 seeds, that is many years worth in most situations. So you don't have to buy that kind of seed, and spend that money every year.

  6. I buy my seeds from everywhere. At the local Ace Hardware and another local nursery-we can buy seeds in bulk. These are the varieties that are know to produce well in our area. Just curious but could you move those beds? Or cut the branches from the trees above? I saw the video where you and sis-in-law made the egg holder. Maybe y'all could make a park bench to put under the trees. You know at first I thought your egg holder was an upcycled golf ball holder. Which brings me to my next suggestion. Maybe if you move the beds you could turn that area into a putting area for your family and friends. That way y'all could enjoy the view of your garden. You could do it in the shape of a pool table. I know they sell a set of golf balls that look like pool balls. Turn something you hate into something fun!

  7. try growing bok choy, my geese n chickens love it, plus its great for stir fry. I dehydrated a bunch of greens for them as snacks for winter, dehydrate some cranberries for them or freeze some. I grew a bunch of sunflowers and they get the dried out heads too. I get our seeds from local areas, on line, This year I had problems with baker creek seeds, alot did not germinate. Happy Thanksgiving dinner for you today Sunday. Your mom is awesome
