Thanks for the tour!
You're a blessing. Truly.
Looks like epazote. If it is, sauté leaves with squash flowers and onion and put in as a filling in quesadillas! Delicacy!
Can we please have a video on how to take cuttings from the roses??
my dad has had the same basil plant for almost 3 years now. He grows it inside using the hydroponics method. He uh…got it to grow bark: https://www.instagram.com/p/CNa_2MIr5ScmYWzCbB0irlbqnsW0DWz68Ig3o00/
My parsley looks like yours with the flower heads on it, when should I harvest the seeds? Do I cut down the flowering stalks when I harvest? Thanks for the help.
Jess you have totally inspired me on flowers and roses this year. I got a few roses, 2 of them are quicksilver arborose that I'm going to trellis. There are small buds on a couple of them, do I need to pinch them before planting?
Just curious what you do for a living besides Youtube?
We ALL are PRAYING for a smooth and safe transition for your families move…I myself have been a 60 square foot patio gardener for 3 years learning how to grow everything from you and in July I bought a 3 acre property in Arizona so that I myself can have something beautiful like yours thank you for EVERYTHING that you do…
Everything looks great. Can't wait to see what your new garden looks like. I have some of those Walking Onions too.
When you walked through the arbor to the cottage garden, the rose on your right that has red and yellow blooms looks identical to my climbing Joseph's Coat rose. I call it Ketchup and Mustard because it is always changing colors. I bought my Joseph's Coat at Walmart, so I'm fairly certain that's what you have on the right there. I don't know the purple rose name.
Every time you wonder at your chives making it through your winter, I smile and have a little chuckle. I live in Ontario (Canada), and my chives come back from minus fourty celcius, no cover (other than snow) and being planted in a wood planter 🙂
Your brassicas look amazing! Do you not have issues with cabbage moths? I have to grow all mine under covers or it gets decimated.
There is nothing like fresh garden food.
LOOKING GOOD !
Egyptian walking onions, so cool. I have a few of those going, looking forward to having so much of it. So I can eat green onions on the daily!

Beautiful! What is the purpose of the tires on the fence?
Ahh Jess! I have been with you since before the 1st garden tour. Loving this last season, oh how the refuge has grown! It sure has grown me!!
This season in Central Texas has been ABNORMALLY chilly and wet and my garden is definitely confused for now 😀
what do you fertilize your tangerine skies rose with?
Fairly new to your channel, do you have a video talking about the flow of your daily routine that I can watch. Thank you, just trying to get an idea of time
How do you feed your roses – what and how often? Planted a bare root David Austin and despite the crazy freeze in our (your) area, it has taken off!! Just interested in feeding.
Just fabulous!
Jess,
Perhaps you should cut the tops off of half those onions and leave the other half untouched – then compare onion bulb sizes later? Why not experiment? Love the show!
I’m doing some catch up on your videos, and just caught this one. I had just been thinking “I hope she takes some cuttings of those beautiful roses she’s put so much effort into!” And yup, that’s what you’re doing! Looking forward to seeing how you turn your new homestead into your home ❤️
