Can't help being distracted by the dragon fruit right there in the background.
I live in South Carolina (zone 8) and I want to give raspberries a try. I would be planting them in the ground rather than a pot. They may be in shade for about half the day, but given the warmer climate here, is that alright? I read that they don't tolerate heat very well, so I figured some shade would help that. Also, how often would you reapply fertilizer to the plant?
Hi love your video! I’m about to plant some sunshine blue blueberries and Navaho blackberries this weekend in pots. I have been researching everywhere about pots. What size pots did you use here?
Does anyone know if these tips would work for native plants too? Trying to grow apple berries (apple-dumplings) but can't find much info on them ):
I just bought some 16 inch pots I hope I have a green thumb
I never had luck with container planting my berry bushes. Ever! 🙁
Can you do a video from seeds? TY
I’m growing Boysenberry here in Oregon and I successfully cloned it! It reminds me of Knott’s Berry Farm.
For those planting bare root raspberries, the people I bought mine from recommend no fertilizer in the soil when you transplant them due to possible root burn.
Love the slip fence.
Loved your videos — I already have blueberries and thornless blackberries planted in containers (successfully, I think) but am curious as to the size containers you are using for raspberries — minimum height and width, please. Thanks in advance for your help!
Can you do a video overwintering berries?
10:41 blueberry ghost opens the door
My family can't grow anything lol. We've killed everything we've ever tried to grow there was 1 plant I took care of daily until it died left it outside alone dead for months then it came back to life I tried taking care of it again and it died once more then it never came back.
Hope you see this what and where did you get those pots.
When is the best time of year to plant the blackberries? I'm in zone 6b/7a and want to grow some in containers next year. LOVE your channel!!!
Hey! Those large containers in the beginning of the video look amazing! Where do you get containers that beautiful?
Use bat-friendly netting, people!
Very helpful info, thanks!
I like your pot and wondering where did you buy them.
Can berries be grown in containers indoors? I have a wall of windows that I’m Turing into an indoor garden and hadn’t thought of berries before because I didn’t know they could be grown Well in containers. Now I’m thinking about it.
so when i bought my black berries the place told me they like alkaline soil? is this the case? I grow mine in a raised bed.
I have strawberries in containers now
I’ve tried growing blueberries and raspberries for 2 years and have not received a yield. I will try again. I will repot using a more acid soil
