  1. How did you choose your modular home? I just had a total house fire- i don’t know how to start. Building materials are still $$$$. We are also looking at a 5 th wheel mobile but worried a cold weather in winter.

  2. In addition to fluids, I sleep or at the very least lay down in a dark and quiet (preferrably silent) spot. I ice my head, neck and back to numb the pain. I also use acupressure points. 1) I take either hand. Using my opposite hand or a volunteer, I press on the flesh in between my thumb and index finger. I hold for however many seconds it takes for the pain to dissipate 2) Using my thumb, I press on my forehead literally between my two eyebrows. 3) I press on my temples ( where my eyebrows end) 4)Using both of my hands, I use my thumbs to press on my flesh where the base of my neck meets my head. TIP: When you touch a "sore" spot, you found where you need to press. Hold pressure for a few seconds. Release. Repeat. 5) From # 4 I flip my wrists and turn my hands down. I squeeze the top of my shoulders and even the back or sides of my neck. Every migraine is different. Not all of those points will be sore to the touch. When you find a spot that's sore you've found a point that may resolve some if not all of your pain. Blessings

  3. Hope to see your farm on the farm tours someday. Not sure if your area of SC has them but I know upstate does. We also purchase land recently. Lifetime South Carolinians here.

  4. Migraines omg My neurologist prescribed Topamax, which worked wonderfully but don't take the full dosage… its called stupid max fir a reason. One thing is most likely once you reach menopause, migraines will pretty much stop or at least drastically lessen

  5. I get migraines and I get prior visual tracers sometimes to the point of loosing my vision, if I can medicate at that point I can make it stop but if not there is not much you can do but stay in the dark with a cold cloth on the back of your neck. And yes stress is the most common cause and heat exhaustion.

  6. About migraines – I know I'm a bit late but maybe it'll still help – there are a lot of different causes for migraines and types of migraines. For pretty much all of them sleep, drinking water and avoiding light and noise is helpful. My brother, sister and I have suffered from migraines for years and all three of us take meds in addition but each of us has found different meds that seem to do the job for us. My migraines are milder than my sister's and I can take ibuprofen 800 and get better within half a day usually if I also rest. I tend to get blurry vision before a migraine and taking the meds then before it really hits is most helpful. My siblings take stronger meds but it just depends on what works individually. Hope you don't get any more in this time of moving.

  7. I’ve packs on neck or ice cold wash cloth helps a lot of us suffers..The doctor can give you medication they have drowsy and non drowsy meds!! Yes lots of fluids and rest! I believe that’s why we have them is always when we need them just rest our minds!!! In my opinion!! Take Care Sheila

  8. Migraines are no joke – what others are saying fluids and rest/sleep are the best things for them. Love your camper and your channel… would love to see a camper tour. We just got one last summer and ours has a similar layout to yours Forest River Vibe 34BH but a few differences. We love camping in ours with our three young daughters. Can't wait to see what y'all do in SC. We are a few states up in VA. 🙂

  9. Jess sometimes a warm compress over your eyes really helps. I haven’t had one for a long time, but when I didl they were awful. I had a thumping pain in my eye and it literally made my stomach so upset. Light was no my friend during the migraine. Try that if you get another one. I hope you don’t.

  10. Things that work for me when I get a migraine
    1. 3 aspirin
    2. Chased down with 2-3 cups coffee
    3. Eat like a pig
    4. Go to sleep (after eating so much, it's easier to sleep)

  11. I suffer migraines. Here in New Zealand with free health i suspect that the treatment is different. Sleep or rest in a dark quiet room with ibuprofen. If that doesn't help the doctors here with administer a shot of voltarin into a butt check or the hospital will put you on a drip. Migraine fatigue is also a thing being tired and out of sorts for up to 7 days post. Sunglasses if you do have to travel. Fluids yes water, gatorade, lucozade. I have had only one in 12 months since getting my tragus piercing. Before anyone says anything I'm aware that's controversial. I don't care if it's only the power of belief. i used to have 1 every month and 4 hospitalizations a years. Now 1 migraine a year. Migraines can also announce their coming with a aura e.g blurred vision, sparkly vision and others. Don't push it after a migraine, don't beat yourself up. True migraines are horrible and stressing because of what you haven't done etc while you had one or where recovering is a great way to feel horrible but also invite another migraine. Thank you for your videos for the information provided in easy to understand manner but also for your and your family's friendly manner. Your helping me through Auckland's current lockdown.
