  1. Dig up a chunk of that thyme and take it with you. I got a bucket full from my daughter’s huge mass like yours when ours died in the cold. Just keep it damp until you can plant it. You can do this with oregano and marjoram too.

  2. I grew my first garden last year after my mom passed away and I found your channel. It was tiny (4×10) but really helped me heal and provided some food for my family. This year, we doubled the size–still small, but I'm enjoying it every day! <3

  3. I'd love to be able to grow ground cherries,I live in Cleveland and couldn't get them to grow from seed indoors and the nurseries don't have them so the only ground cherries im getting is if I go to a farmers market forty miles away.

  4. BEAUTIFUL gardens!!! May I ask what you fill your beds with? We are planning on adding more raised beds next year and want to make sure we fill them with the best soil possible. I will be following you on your journey to your new farm 🙂

  5. I'd love it if you did a video on how you control pests. Specifically on basil, tomato, and squash plants. I can't seem to find something that works and I'm comfortable using on food.

  6. The row7 peas are best when cooked. They also sweeten up when you do that. I lightly sautéed them with some olive oil then added a splash of water and covered to let them steam for a minute or so (this is what they recommend on their site). Then season with salt & pepper and serve. I find them to be the best when the peas are about half way to full size. I'm growing their trial mix which is green & purple, really enjoying them this year.

  7. The wetness is horrible up here in NY too. Has anyone seen increased pest pressure this year too? I haven’t looked at the stats for June yet but we’ve had a wet June when we usually are pretty dry and hot right now. It’s very cool too

  8. Do you have a growing guide for shallots? Mine were in the ground for 8 months and never developed bulbs, even though all the seed catalogs say 4 months. Full sun, consistent water, heavily amended soil. Would love some tips for next year!

  9. I really felt the moment when you were speaking of your friend inheriting the garden. I would be ecstatic to move into my new home and it come with a beautiful garden like this. So many surprises, I would go wild!!
