  1. You and your family are such an inspiration! Have learned so much from you both. From your personal relationships, to the garden. It is a joy to see your light shine! Sparkle away girl!

  2. I so very rarely comment, Im just one of those lurkers. But Ive been watching your journey and this just touched me so much. Im so glad in my heart and spirit for you both.

  3. i don't know how you ladies can handle moving and the planting/harvesting/tending! We just moved onto 5+ acres and only had to move chickens, some fruit trees, and house plants..and Ive been so overwhelmed. We also have had to do a TON of house projects including a new roof. I've been staring at my "kitchen garden" space that I gave to the chickens and attempt to compost and its a mess! I'm thankful for all the beautiful perenial flowers that the previous owner sowed for me to enjoy! exciting adventures but not easy.

  4. Such a beautiful friendship you have both grown, stewards of each others hearts and plants including the volunteers! Love and bless you both! Garden on girls!

  5. I really hope that Jill shares an outdoor dinner with us. Would love to see that unfold! So amazing that she is going to be donating to her community. That is my wish one day to be able to do something similar!

  6. God has used this interview to speak to me today. Thank you. If you see this and are a person of prayer I would sure appreciate your prayers for me. Please pray that God's dream for my life would be loosed in me.

  7. wow ! been a subscriber for much more than a year and watched all the time and then got fully engaged in something effecting all living that kept me away from things I learned to love. I had to go back to June to learn of a huge transition for Roots and Refuge Farm. Thankfully I am on my 2nd video and enjoying the time spent with the things that bring joy. Both of you bring great joy and that is a gift.

  8. It feels like Jess and Miah are entrusting one of their children to Jill and Nathan, the way some kids move out to go to college or their first apartment, or the way many kids move out from home to live with a relative while getting ready to become an adult. Nearly every one of my cousins spent post highschool living with our grandma and grandpa to learn to drive, can food, or otherwise learn to be an adult for a summer or a year.
Jess and Miah have acquired this place in its infancy, raised this home to a more mature farm. Still,, more is still to come, and Jill and Nathan are ready to take it further and grow with it. Love both channels, I've been catching up where I left off. Got a little too much for me, I must admit, to watch these emotional moments as everyone comes to terms with saying goodbye to one beloved home to move to another… but I know I will go through the same process when my family and I leave our rental to take on the next step. I am sucking it up and watching how you all handle it.
