I will be driving from hollysprings, ms …..to come meet you at your book signing. You have blessed my live in sooo many ways. I went thur saleing my house and building a new home. Just a year ago. Wonder if your zinnias didn't do well due to the alleopathic effect of sunflowers which I just learned about. I have planted sunflowers in different spaces in my garden and have noticed nothing else will grow in that particular space after. Last summer I planted sunflowers beside my well established bee balm and sadly the bee balm didn't return this year. I am now only planting sunflowers in containers and will dispose of soil at end of season. Has anyone else experienced this?
I know you are going to miss/morning your home and garden, but you will make something new and just as beautiful if not prettier at the new place.

Hi Jess! It was so nice getting to meet Mathew ~ hi Matthew! I'm going to go to his site next. This was fun and I hope your book signing goes really well. It was exciting seeing your books on display. I think hydrangeas would be beautiful at the entrance to your property. It sounds like you will have quite a few gates on your property, so it will be fun for you to be able to experiment with different plants if you want to.
