  1. I wish we could make "no shame for weeds in my garden" a new trend!!!! Every video where anyone shows that they have weeds, my heart feels such relief!!! I fight them all the time and they are just about the only thing that causes me grief in my garden, I am working hard to get to a headache of "acceptance" with them so I at least quit beating myself up.

  2. I love you and the way you show real life on your farm…
Your humor is flawless.. I absolutely get a kick/joy with your baby talk…. I do it too 😉
KEEP BEING YOU PATARA…….. God bless <3

  3. I love it when “we” get to go to the garden or to the livestock! It relieves any anxiety that I may have. Those birds were going crazy this morning! Can we visit the chickens or the cows soon? I think you are a wonderful farmer! Little girl is getting bigger!!!

  4. My hubby and I tried a garden this year because we both retired last year and wanted something to do. To say it was mainly a fail is an understatement. I live south Louisiana and I just saw in the paper, the parish I live in has gotten 20” of rain OVER the normal amount this year so far. Except for the okra and cucumber, nothing else is really producing much. The cucumbers had a slow start and now are done. If it doesn’t dry up soon, don’t know if we w8ll even attempt a fall garden. Oh well. There’s always next year.

  5. I was getting a kick listening to you talk to your garden after you commented on why you were doing it. LOL … especially since it's sooo much better than what I deal with on the daily at my desk. I love listening to you while I work. You keep me smiling – and then people are wondering why I'm smiling. <grin>

  6. Hey Girlfriend I need a salt shaker and a stool. I love me some maters. Black Krim are so very good.
Oh I can help you prune and do a little weeding in between eating. ha ha
Corn and all your garden look amazing. Have fun today. We are having rain in NE Texas but I love it.
Keep smiling makes me happy just watrching.

  7. I live in Wisconsin and had zero success with tomatoes until I watched a video of yours years ago about pruning. I prune. No blight issues since and despite all the challenges I do have, esp. this year–my plants are healthy, beautiful, and flowering.

  8. Patera? You taught me how to prune and control my tomatoes a few years ago. I'm almost your neighbor on Lookout Mtn AL walking distance to Little River Canyon so it's gets humid here especially with all this rain we've had this year. As soon as I see any yellow? It's off. I keep them opened up so air can get in and they can breathe and not get disease. So thank you! You taught me to prune tomatoes hunny! and I get plenty, actually A ton of them with pruning. I'm growing lots Roma's for making sauce this year and canning the others regular to make whatever. Lol Thanks hun.

  9. Patera do you have goats for milk? I'm assuming you do but don't think I've ever seen you do it on a video. Or maybe you eat goat. Ive never had any goats but I'm thinking of getting a few for milking. I know having them to be careful looking out for worms. Your goats look so healthy and so cute!
