Excellent video. You're right easy peasy.
How much time inside the pressure cooker? Thanks for tip on salt, other season too?
How long does it last on the shelf?
So how would you know if you made a mistake & didn’t kill off the bacteria- would you be able to smell or see it when you eventually opened the jar that was stored? Are there clues??
Patara! Thank you for this video. It helps so much to see how it’s done especially to a newbie like me. I guess I’m a late bloomer to prepping and running behind. We have some pork and beef coming our way soon. I don’t have room in my freezer for it so I need to can what’s in there right now. I hope you will be able to do more canning videos. I sure appreciate you!
My question is, where do you get the "James"?
I have frozen hamburger meat. Is there is reason that i CAN NOT pressure can this if thawed?
So your pint meat is enough for ur 4? Each meal?
Love your direct and simple instructions with tips to make sure it’s done correctly, I’m going to buy a pressure canner before they all get gone.
Thank you for making this video!!! Because of it, I just use my new pressure canner for the first time today. I was able to put away, 5 lbs of ground beef. What a great feeling of accomplishment, after working through the initial fear of pressure canning. Thanks again for the encouragement!
How long does canned ground beef last in storage?
What do you think about the Nesco canner? I’ve never canned before and that one seems less intimidating.
Did my first batch today. Never in my life did I imagine I would be canning meat, but here I am. Thank you for your video.
Love you for doing this video. I’ve never ever canned in my life and learning everything from scratch. I have a question for you. Where do you recommend buying the jars and lids and the pressure canner and water bath canner? I noticed the jars and lids are hard to find and the prices have gone up a lot. Also, how long will the canned meat last?
I'm watching your YouTube video on my tv right now, typing this on my phone. You are very informative, but you're hilarious as well. Thank you for your videos!
Thank you for reminding me how to can! I used to do a lot of it back in the day. Mostly just fruit jams, tomato sauce, and that sort of thing. I had to get rid of all of it when I moved into a condo about 15 years ago. Now I'm remarried, and live in a big house, so I can store some new supplies! I think the pressure canner might be out of my pay grade, but the hot water bath still seems do-able. I'm asking for canning supplies for Christmas!!
Do I have to drain the meat?
When you lose your entire freezer full of meat ( hundreds of dollars) that’s when you kick yourself for Not taking the step to get this done along with all the other meats! Thanks Pantra!
been a salesperson….you just used their term……key word…..SIMPLE…..
Salting it in advance is good for a backpack ration …
Thank you and God bless you, Patara!!!
Thank you so much I'm so nervous to start got my pressure Cooker recently.
I LUV this! Thank you.
Im a new pressure canner.
I did some ground hamburger.
I didn't put liquid in it. Just hamburger. Canned it.
The fat that ,didn't .drain off.
Setting on top. Did I ruin it.
Searching for canning meats and this was recommended. How did I miss this? So far I’ve only done tomatoes, jam, pickled jalapeños in water bath, but I’ve asked for a canner for Christmas, and I’m getting ready to go big time. I guess now is the time. Really appreciate your videos, wisdom and boldness!
Patara, do you HAVE to add liquid to pre-cooked meat?
You are so awesome im making some ground beef now praying it turns out my first time..
